Review 2
When did you complete this unit? Semester and Year
Semester 1 2021.
Teaching of the Unit (lecture, class and tutorial style)
Two seminars.
What are assessments and exams like?
Quiz, essay and take-home exam- was really clear what these covered and not too hard to revise.
Essentiality of readings? i.e. Must complete or are lectures sufficient?
Readings needed for assessments 🙂
Pros and Cons of the Unit
Pros- Tania was a great teacher who was very passionate about the course content. It’s more of a general overview of political and legal history of human rights, not so much legal problem solving. That’s not a pro or a con but good to know what to expect! It gives a good taste of other areas of law e.g. discrimination law, torts, constitutional law.

If you are interested in Australian politics and enjoyed international human rights law this is a good place to start.
